Patient Preparation:

• Ensure the molar surface is thoroughly cleaned and dried to facilitate proper bonding. Verify the patient’s occlusion and molar position in accordance with the MBT treatment plan

Tube Selection:

• Select the correct tube for the appropriate side and arch. Confirm slot size compatibility with the planned archwire dimensions

Bonding Procedure:

• Apply orthodontic adhesive to the tube base and position it on the molar’s buccal surface. Light cure using standard bonding protocols to secure in place

Archwire Placement:

• Insert the archwire through the tube slot gently, starting from anterior to posterior. Secure with elastomeric ligatures or as per the bracket system used

Monitoring:

• Inspect for bond integrity at each follow-up appointment. Replace or rebond if detachment or breakage is noted

Patient Instructions:

• Advise the patient to avoid sticky or hard foods and maintain excellent oral hygiene to ensure appliance longevity.
