    Description

    Carvene Gutta Percha Solvent is used for removing gutta percha at the time of root canal re-treatment. Also useful for removing all types of root canal filling materials including Zinc Oxide – Eugenol Cement or as a cleaner for endodontic instruments.

    Carvene is non-hazardous unlike Choloroform/Trichloroethylene which are considered as carcinogenic substances. Also it is less volatile as compared to chloroform / Trichloroethylene. Carvene Gutta Percha Solvent is based on natural substances and therefore it does not cause irritation to oral mucosa and peri-apical tissue.

    Indications :

    • To remove all types of root canal filling materials including Zinc Oxide-Eugenol cement.
    • As a disinfectant/cleaner for endodontic instruments
    • For removing gutta percha at the time of root canal re-treatments

    Storage Conditions :

    • Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C.
    • Close the cap carefully after use.
    • Keep away from moisture.
    • Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.

    Shelf life : 3 years from the date of manufacturing.

    Direction To Use
    • Dispense Carvene Gutta Percha Solvent into dappen dish or directly on cotton pallet.
    • Place the soaked cotton pellet on root canal filling material and cover with temporary cement (Zinc Phosphate).
    • Remove the softened filling material after two days.
